This band brings the “grit and the grandeur of the American spirit” to life with its varied repertoire: Copland’s “Appalachian Spring,” Cash’s “I’ve Been Everywhere,” Gershwin’s “An American in Paris,” traditional “Orange Blossom Special” and more. Annie Wolaver Dupre (lead singer/violinist) and her siblings, Alex (viola) and Benjamin (cello), along with their father, award-winning composer/arranger/pianist Bill Wolaver, formed the Annie Moses Band in 2001, named for their great grandmother. Each Juilliard-educated, the trio began touring the United States, performing a 33-concert run in their second year. Over the years, the group has expanded to include six siblings.
