Representatives from the Kansas Association of School Boards will be in Great Bend at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, August 3rd at the District Education Center, 201 S. Patton Road.
The meetings held by KASB are being referred to as a “New Day in Kansas Education” and will feature a look at new vision, finance formula, funding, accountability and school redesign. Topics for discussion will be the challenges of preparing more students for success after high school graduation, jobs skills and postsecondary education.
The public is invited to attend and no sign up is necessary.
