Saint Francis Community Services will have a TIPS-MAPP training Class which is a pre-service training for potential adoptive and foster parents prior to becoming licensed by the state. It helps families make informed decision about becoming a resource family. The program guides potential applicants through complex issues they may face a as a resource family. Through carefully designed activities, parents can see first hand the challenges of adopting and fostering children. It is a 10 week class, starting June 4th. It will be every Monday night from 6-9 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church 2101 Jackson St. in Great Bend.
